Patient Support Group Information

Sherman Health Regional Heart Center knows that life can be difficult after a heart procedure. That’s why we consider your care following a cardiac procedure to be just as important as the surgery itself.

Healing happens in a variety of ways, and being in contact with others who have experienced the same thing as you is key to the healing process.

Shock Absorber Group
This free support group is for patients -- and their families -- with implanted defibrillators. The group meets at Sherman Hospital on the first Monday of even months from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mended Hearts Support Group
This free support group discusses a different heart-related topic each month. The group meets at Sherman Hospital on the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.
