You will be awake as you enter the operating room. You will see a lot of machines and equipment in the operating room. You will also see several people. These people are the surgical heart team. They are experienced and dedicated to providing you with the best care during your operation. They will all be wearing surgical gowns, caps, and masks. They will help you move from the cart onto the operating room table. Once you are on the table, you will see the anesthesiologist, and then you will go to sleep.
