At Sherman, you will have a highly experienced team of health care professionals caring for you. The members of the health care team include the cardiac surgeon, cardiologist, other physicians, specially trained nurse, dieticians, physical therapists, cardiac rehabilitation nurses, and the case manager. Other health care providers will be involved in your care as needed. These include diabetes center nurses, social worker, chaplain, pharmacist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. All of these health care professionals will work together to provide you with the best possible care before, during, and after your surgery.
