Sherman Health Foundation to Host 2nd Annual Music by the Water Event

Elgin, Ill. - Sherman Health Foundation will host its 2nd annual Music by the Water event from noon to 3pm, Sunday, September 16 (rain date September 23) on the Sherman Hospital Lakeside Terrace, 1425 N. Randall Road.

This popular event for the entire family will include a picnic and music performed by Elgin Symphony Orchestra (ESO) musicians, Six String Crossing (country) and physicians on the Sherman Hospital medical staff. Children's activities will include a coloring contest, face painting and more. A raffle will also be available for variety of great prizes.

Premium tent seating tickets, including a seat in the premium tent by the geothermal lake with an elegant buffet meal and drinks, are $75 per person or $700 for a table of 10. General lawn seating tickets can be purchased for $10 per adult and $5 for children age 12 and under. General lawn seating guests are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Musicians Care Program at Sherman Hospital. Through this patient and family-centered care program, ESO musicians visit Sherman Hospital every Thursday at noon to perform calming music in visitor and patient areas.

Music by the Water sponsorship and program advertisement are available. They are an excellent way to show support for Sherman Hospital and to place message in front of the hundreds of people who will attend.
